10 years of presence, faith and service

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the presence of the Sisters of Saint Ursula in Sérédou, the community of the Sisters of Saint Ursula of Sérédou invites people to take part in this celebration, which marks a decade of faith, prayer, service, education, commitment and walking with communities.

It will be a special time of grace, gratitude and thanksgiving to the Lord, for the fruits of these ten years of presence and of mission in the service of young people, women, families and the community.

From Friday to Sunday, a fair with an exhibition and sale shows what the community and the people it trains make or process: soaps, syrups, banana wine, products made from bitter kola (petit cola), handicrafts.

Over the course of the celebration, traditional dances and a song-writing competition are added to the entertainment. On Saturday, organic fertilisation solutions are presented to farmers, and discussions turn to the Church’s contribution to development.
